Porta: La Bella y la Bestia/ Kráska a zviera/ The Beauty and the Beast (preklad piesne/ lyrics translation)

     

   Rozprávky miluje asi každý z nás. A každý z nás určite aspoň raz túžil byť Popoluškou (samozrejme, hlavne ak je na bále a ak ju konečne nájde jej princ a nasadí jej vytúženú črievičku na nohu), Šípkovou Ruženkou (lebo spánok je zdravý) alebo takou Snehulienkou s perami ako krv, vlasmi ako žúžoľ a snehobielou pokožkou. Avšak nie je rozprávka ako rozprávka; keď láska Krásky (Belly) zachráni život Zvieraťa a on sa opäť premení na človeka, môže nás to dojať.
      Žiaľbohu, v reálnom živote často krát ani tá najväčšia láska nestačí na to, aby žena zmenila akéhokoľvek násilníka na dobrého človeka. Obaja sú obeťou; on je obeťou svojho malého sebavedomia a vnútornej neistoty, ona obeťou závislosti na niekom ( lebo verí, že jej cenu určujú druhí a nie ona sama). Vždy je však čas prelomiť to "zlé kúzlo". Odísť. Vzpriečiť sa.

      Presne tak, ako v piesni o Kráske a Zvierati od Porty. Ibaže táto má o niečo smutnejší a príliš často vídaný koniec...

      

      Almost everybody of us  loves fairy tales. And everybody of us was longing at least once in our life  to become Cinderella  (of course, in that part of the story where she is dancing with the prince or when he finds her and tries her shoe on), the Sleeping Beauty (because sleep can make us look better) or Snow White with the lips red as blood, the hair dark as a raven and the skin white as snow. But not everything in life is a fairy tale; when the Beast is being saved by the great love  of the Beauty (Bella) and he turns again into a human, it can make us cry.
     Unfortunately, in real life even the greatest love is not enough to change the cruelty of the her violator into the goodness and kindness. They both are victims of their small self-confidence and feeling of being nothing: he tries to elevate it with the power and punch, she by using him (and the others, too) as a mirror of her unworthiness. But there´s always a time to break the "bad spell". To go away. Let go. Stand up for yourself and your children.

   Certainly, this is also the message of the song "The Beauty and the Beast" by Spanish Porta. However, this one´s final is sadder and more common in your world...
